Mye: The World Elsewhere – Part Fifty Six

*Narrator*

But friends are remembered!
Our Playful Bard’s sacrifice;
As the warmth was Decembered,
And tears of song were kept in ice,

A final fleeting smile
Smelted Sinai peacefulness
To our souls. The final mile
Was set with our faith in the cross.

With this final line I am hoping people (such as yourselves) will stop and think: “That sounds very Christian. Maybe the rest of the poem had that theme?” And indeed it does! Or so is my aim.

Thanks for reading,
Andrew
