Mye: The World Elsewhere – Part Fifty Five

Here we have the beginning of the end for Mye: The World Elsewhere. In this final chapter all loose ends should (hopefully) be tied up.

Feedback is welcomed, not just on these verses, but on the whole story. What did you like? What do you think I should change? Is it engaging throughout?

Chapter Six

*Narrator*

Sorrow dominates it.
The telling of that old dream
Drains my remaining spirit.
Nothing there is what it may seem,

But didn’t it feel real?
The characters’ emotions,
How we were found to congeal
To their fantasy locations,

And when the time did come
For all our pain to succeed,
It tore my chest then was gone.
In waking moments we still bleed.

Thanks for reading,
Andrew
